About Us
Podiatry
Billing Services, located in Jacksonville, Florida, was started by
podiatrists in 1998. We realized that most practices could not afford
to hire, train and maintain a core billing staff who would reliably
file and work the accounts. As clients we wanted
access (in real time) to patient information and to recieve and
deposit all insurance and patient payments. We didn't want anyone else
handling our money.
Our
staff has extensive experience in billing and collections for podiatric
practices. Terri Strandberg, Office Manager, began her
career working for a podiatrist 22
years ago. She is familiar with every aspect of the podiatric practice
from surgical and chair side assisting to managing the office. Carrie
Guenther, Assistant Office Manager, was a claims processor for a major
insurance carrier, then billing clerk for a
large
podiatry practice prior to joining PBS in 2004.
